Girls soccer sweeps Garden City
The girls soccer team shut out the Garden City Buffalos in a 2-0 win. The Lady Indians controlled the game early in the first half with the first goal coming in the 14th minute, being scored by senior Tressa Becker. Two minutes later in the 16th minute, the Lady Indians struck again, with sophomore Savannah Schneider scoring on the dribble. Garden City couldn’t make a push to come back with the game ending with a score of 2-0 to win the game. The Lady Indians will host the first round of 4-3-2-1A Regional play on Tuesday. Their opponent has yet to be determined.
