The volleyball team traveled to Dodge City on Sept. 8, going 2-1. Teams present were Sublette, Dodge City and Lakin.

Hays vs Sublette

25-9, 25-19

Sophomore Kallie Leiker had 7 digs while sophomores Jaysa Wichers, Jaycee Dale, and freshman Tasiah Nunnery had six kills. Nunnery also had eight assist and three services aces.

Hays vs Dodge City

25-12, 25-14

Leiker had eight digs and sophomore Hannah McGuire had eight assist. Nunnery had two solo blocks, seven kills and two service aces.

Hays vs Lakin

27-25, 23-25, 22-25

Leiker and McGuire had 11 digs and 19 assists, respectively, and Dale had five blocks. Nunnery had 12 kills and two service aces.

The ladies are now 3-2 on the season, their next action is Sept. 14 in Ulysses.
