Lady Indians fall to Great Bend; 62-55

The girls’ basketball team hosted the Great Bend Panthers on Jan 12. Hays took the first 2-0 lead, but fell behind by 10 points later on in the first quarter. The first quarter ended with a two-point lead by Great Bend, 17-15. Hays fell behind once again as Great Bend scored 13 points compared to Hays’ 5 points in the second quarter. The Panthers took a 44-36 lead in the third quarter and remained in the lead until the end, winning the game with a win of 62-55.
