The boys basketball team prevailed in their game against the Abilene Cowboys. The game was close, and the boys fought hard and well on Feb. 17. The final score was 66-50, and the Indians record is now 11-5.

Ending the first quarter tied 15-15; the Indians outscored the Cowboys over the next two periods to enter the final quarter up 53-41. The Indians scored 13 points in the final period, and the Cowboys only scored nine.

Keith Dryden had 24 points on the board, the leading scorer for this game. Isaiah Nunnery and Brady Werth were both in double digits with 13 and 10 points respectively. Shane Berens added seven points to the score. Cash Hobson and Drew Young each added five, and Maddux Winter rounded out the scoring with two.

The boys next travel to Garden City to compete on Feb. 20.
