Lady Indians Basketball defeated

The Lady Indians basketball team lost to Salina Central, 59-42 on Feb. 10.

The loss to Salina Central makes their record 3-12 in the season.

In the first quarter Salina Central lead the quarter 15-10 against Hays. In the second quarter Salina Central lead the scoring 10-9. The score at the half was Salina Central 25-19. In the third quarter Salina Central maintained their increasing lead 19-9, and in the final quarter Salina Central outscored Hays 15-14, accounting for the final score.

Audra Schmeidler scored 13 points shooting 4-9 inside the arc, 1-3 behind the arc. She had three rebounds and two assists. Talyn Kleweno added 11 points, and Haley George added six points to Hays’ score.

Rounding out the remaining score was Ashlyn Parrish scored five points, Mattie Schlaefli added four, and Nicole Dinkel added two points completing the final score.
