Volleyball goes 3-0 at Goodland Quad on Sept. 9

The Indian volleyball squad went 3-0 at the Goodland Quad on Sept. 9, winning against Burlington, Goodland and TMP.

Against Burlington, the Indians started the match with a 25-8 win and continued with a 25-15 victory.

Continuing their winning streak, the team won in straight games against Goodland with 25-18 and 25-16 decisions.

Ending the night with another pair of victories against local rival, TMP, the Indians remained unbeaten with 25-9 and 25-19 victories.

With the wins, Hays improved to 5-0 on the season.

Leading the way, junior Tessa Stickel dominated with 19 kills, while junior Albany Schaffer had 17 digs. Junior Audra Schmeidler served up eight aces during the evening.

The Indians will travel to Dodge City on Sept. 11.
