Gun Control in America

The Second Amendment should be honored, and we should all have the ability to holster arms in our own homes but with some restrictions.

If we place restrictions who can purchase and get their hands on firearms, then we can reduce a lot of the trouble present in America.

While the U.S. loosely denies access to felons, abusers and mentally ill, it is not regulated across the entire country. This means that a sketchy character can purchase a firearm in one state, then carry it across to another.

The nation’s gun control laws we currently have are from 1968 and outdated in today’s society and still do not prevent all harmful figures from handling firearms.

America needs a single unified law that requires background checks and the ability to make sure everyone who purchases a gun is a healthy, mentally stable person.

With the amount of shooting’s increasing in America, it makes since to restrict firearms but not take them away from the people who are well and innocent enough to own them.
