The Indians fell to the Salina Central Mustangs in their last regular season game on October 19.
The Indians started the game out strong with a 7-0 lead on the Mustangs following an eight yard run by senior Palmer Hutchison.
Following the touchdown the Indians made to start up the game, the Mustangs would score 28 consecutive points to leave the Indians in the dust the rest of the game. The Indians would get several chances to score but would fall short in the Central territory.
Coming out of half time, the Mustangs would score to expand their consecutive points to 36. The Indians would not allow anymore back to back points, responding with 14 of their own. Although the Indians woke back up, it would not be enough to take the win of the night, losing to the Mustangs 43-21.
The Indians finish the season 3-5.
