The next swim meet is April 4 in Topeka.

The girls swimming team competed in Haysville on Thursday, March 24.

Hays placed third with 326 points overall.

50 Freestyle – senior Elizabeth Clingan (30.16) placed fifth, and junior Rilee Schwarz (32.20) placed ninth

100 Backstroke – Clingan (1:18.84) placed fifth, sophomore Grecia Enriquez (1:34.89) placed 11th and freshman Kiera Dealy (1:44.41) placed 14th

100 Breaststroke – Schwarz (1:35.19) placed seventh, senior Gracie Wente (1:39.94) placed 11th and senior Lauryn Miller (1:49.15) placed 14th

100 Butterfly – senior Jada Thomas (1:44.51) placed seventh

100 Freestyle – freshman Izabel Schmidt (55.85) placed first, and Miller (1:13.88) placed seventh

200 Medley Relay – Clingan, Schwarz, Schmidt and Miller (2:20.42) placed fourth; Enriquez, Wente, Thomas and Haddaway (2:52.09) placed eighth

200 IM – sophomore Kae Dees (3:34.18) placed ninth

200 Freestyle – junior Mackenzie Hagerman (2:48.16) placed seventh

200 Freestyle Relay – Clingan, Schwarz, Miller and Schmidt (1:58.48) placed second; junior Morgan Deines, junior Kiki Gonzales, Haddaway and Hagerman (2:22.69) placed sixth

400 Freestyle Relay – Hagerman, Gonzales, Dees and Thomas (5:38.43) placed sixth; senior Cassidy Wilke, freshman Savannah Schmidt, sophomore Kim Delreal and Enriquez (6:15.91) placed eighth

500 Freestyle – Hagerman (7:30.04) placed fifth
