The next swim meet is March 31 at the Haysville Campus. Girls swim will have 8 more meets not including State.

The girls swimming team started its season with a meet at Salina South on March 24.
Hays placed eighth with 161 points overall.
50 Freestyle – freshman Izabel Schmidt (25.77) placed first, and sophomore Grecia Enriquez (34.91) placed 19th
100 Backstroke – senior Elizabeth Clingan (1:17.76) place seventh, Enriquez (1:42.93) placed 16th and freshman Kiara Dealy (1:48.76) placed 17th
100 Breaststroke – junior Rilee Schwarz (1:45.71) placed 11th, and senior Lauryn Miller (1:45.71) placed 14th
100 Butterfly – Schmidt (1:10.40) placed second, senior Jada Thomas (1:36.39) placed 10th and sophomore Kae Dees (1:43.22) placed 13th
100 Freestyle –Schwarz (1:11.68) placed eighth, Miller (1:15.11) placed 10th and senior Jamie Haddaway (1:18.76) placed 14th
200 Freestyle – junior MacKenzie Hagerman (2:48.16) placed 10th
200 Freestyle Relay – Clingan, Schwarz, Hagerman and Schmidt (2:00.95) placed fifth; junior Morgan Deines, senior Gracie Wente, Dees and Miller (2:30.39) placed 15th; Enriquez, junior Erica Wilken, sophomore Kim Delreal and freshman Savannah Schmidt (2:38.92) placed 18th
400 Freestyle – Deines, Wilken, Dealy and Delreal (6:16.14) placed 16th
