Girls varsity tennis places seventh at Garden City
Junior Morgan Shorb placed seventh in #1 singles.
The girls varsity tennis team played in Garden City Invitational on Saturday, Sept. 26.
The team placed seventh overall.
The results are as follows:
Playing #1 singles, junior Morgan Shorb placed seventh with a score of 2-2. Shorb’s scores were 8-2, 2-8, 5-8 and 8-4.
Playing #2 singles, senior Ginny Ke placed 14th with a score of 2-3. Ke’s scores were 8-3, 1-8, 5-8, 8-4 and 6-8.
Playing #1 doubles, seniors Emmy Morely and Mylah Potter placed 14th with a score of 2-3. Morely’s and Potter’s scores were 8-0, 1-8, 6-8, 8-7 and 3-8.
Playing #2 doubles, juniors Nia Kaiser and Allyson Werth placed 16th with a score of 1-4. Kaiser’s and Werth’s scores were 8-5, 0-8, 7-8, 3-8 and 5-8.
