Boys soccer loses to Garden City

The first match of the season is always anticipated, and the outcome can set the tone for the rest of the season.

On Sept. 1, the boys soccer team hosted the Garden City Buffaloes for the first match of the season and their Senior Night.

The Indians fought hard throughout the match but ended up losing 2-1, with their only goal coming late in the second half from freshman Brantlee Staab in his high school debut game.

The team will take on the Great Bend Panthers in Great Bend on Sept. 8.
