Boys golf wins second at WAC tournament

The Indian golf team finished three strokes behind Garden City for a second place finish in the final WAC tournament at Liberal. 

The Indian golf team had three top 10 finishes.  

Junior Trey McCrae tied for first place with a final score of 76. McCrae won the playoff on the first extra hole. This was the fifth tournament win for McCrae. Junior Josh Norris placed fourth with a score of 79 and senior Allen Zollinger shot 81 for a seventh place finish. 

Following the tournament, McCrae was awarded WAC player of the year, meaning he scored the most points throughout the WAC season. McCrae also earned first team all WAC honors along with Norris and Zollinger. 

Senior Peyton Kieffer finished the season earning WAC second team honors and honorable mention all WAC.
