Lady Indian golf headed for state

The Lady Indian golf team won second place at regionals, sending them to state for the 12th consecutive year.

The Lady Indian golf team will be attending state this year for the 12-consecutive year. The team finished second at regionals on Oct. 9, missing first place by one stroke.

Senior Karee Dinkel finished with another first-place medal at the meet, followed by junior Emily McGuire with a score of 97 for fifth place, freshman Sophia Garrison with a score of 108 for a ninth-place finish, junior Molly Eikenberry with a score of 112 for a 14th place finished, junior Emily George with a score of 15 for a 16th place finish and junior Brittani Park with a score of 121 for a 20th place finish.

Other teams in attendance were Andale, who beat the Indians by one point, Buhler, Holcomb, Larned, Pratt, Hugoton, and Wellington.
