Indian Volleyball goes 2-1 at home
Varsity volleyball goes 2-1 at home beating Pratt and Ulysses
The Lady Indian volleyball team went 2-1 at home on Sept. 14. The other teams present were Garden City, Pratt and Ulysses.
Hays vs Garden City
18-25, 24-26
Junior Jaycee Dale had six blocks and six kills, while junior Kallie Leiker had twelve digs. Junior Hannah McGuire and sophomore Tasiah Nunnery each had six assists.
Hays vs Pratt
25-15, 25-19
Junior Savannah Schneider and Nunnery had seven kills each. McGuire had eleven assists while Leiker had eighteen digs. Sophomore Macee Altman and Nunnery each had six block assists.
Hays vs Ulysses
25-23, 19-25, 25-21
Dale, Nunnery and Schneider each had six kills, while McGuire and Leiker had fifteen assists and twenty-four digs respectably. Junior Jaysa Wichers had ten block assists and three solo blocks.
The Lady Indians are 7-2 and their next action will be at Ulysses on Sept. 23.
