Boys basketball defeated by Central

The boys basketball team went into the Salina Central game with a record of 10-3.

The Indians started the game slow only scoring two points in the first 6 minutes. Hays made a comeback at the end of the first quarter 9-8.

It was all Central from there, scoring 23 points to Hays’ five points ending the with a score of 32-13. Things only got worse for the Indians with trailing as much as 32 in the third quarter. The fourth quarter had a running clock and Central staying strong Hays would lose the game 33-59.
