Boys cross country takes fifth at McPherson meet; Sept. 22

The boys cross country team took fifth place at the McPherson meet on Sept. 22.

El Dorado earned first place with a score of 27, McPherson took second with 58 followed closely by Buhler with 60 points. Fourth place went to Hutchinson with 87 points. Hays took fifth place with 129 points, followed by Salina South in sixth place with 154.

Individually, freshman Justice Dotts took 18th place, freshman Grant Brungardt took 24th, freshman Trystin Johnson took 29th, senior Taden Zimmerman took 31st, senior Alex Davis took 32nd, freshman Kaiden Van Schuyer took 36th and sophomore Garrett Gregg took 40th.

The cross country team’s next action is Sept. 24 at KU Rimrock.
