The boys golf team took first at the Bob Blazer Invitational on April 18, placing with a score of 324.

Following team scores were Garden City in second with 328 and Salina South with 348 in third. Other team scores were Topeka Seaman 348, Dodge City 355, Liberal 358, Salina Central 366, Hays “B” 404, Junction city 412 and Great Bend 416.

Individually, sophomore Allen Zollinger took third with a score of 79, while freshman Trey McCrae took fifth with an 80. Senior Payton Ruder followed closely behind in sixth place with an 81. Other individual scores were junior Justin McCullick with an 84, sophomore Peyton Kieffer with an 86 and freshman Josh Norris with a 90.

For the Hays “B” team, sophomore Erik Kreutzer scored a 91, followed by junior Brent Koenigsman with a 92. Juniors Taden Zimmerman and Adam O’Connor scored 107 and 114, respectively.

The boys’ next action is in Dodge City on April 21.
