We all know how hard it is to get through a school day. You might have really hard classes, Musical, a job, and sports. So this could make you stay up pretty late and make you sleep deprived.

So when you go to school and you have to listen to teachers drone on and on about something boring, you just want to fall asleep.
That’s why I love the few funny teachers we have. They make it easy for us to listen and understand them when they bring humor into their lessons. Even if it’s not very funny, it’s interesting, so we listen and learn better.

I think some teachers should try to teach with humor. It would really help us students remember their lessons and maybe make us want to come to school. Learning doesn’t have to be boring, and I for one remember things better if I find them interesting or entertaining.

Teachers don’t even have to go to great lengths to be funny though. One teacher says “oh clay” instead of “okay” and it makes my class giggle every time. And one teacher teasingly calls his students “commies” when we do something wrong or when we don’t get his movie references.

And when a teacher is stoic and serious all the time, students aren’t always willing to go in and ask for help. So really if every teacher tried to be funny or made an effort to give interesting examples in class, students would pay better attention. And for those students who don’t always study as much as they should, they might remember the interesting examples the teacher gives during class.
