Haunted house offers ‘fang’-tastic way to spend Valentine’s Day
Valentine’s Day tends to be filled with an overabundance of hearts and the same three colors over and over again, as red, pink and white seeming to overtake everything. However, there are ways to escape these stereotypes while still making memories and having a good time with those you care about.
This year, a Valentine’s Day-themed haunted house has found its way to downtown Hays at 1108 Main St.
Vampires of all sorts and with all intentions will be stationed throughout the decorated two-level building.
The haunted house will be open on Thursday, Feb. 11 from 6-10 p.m. and on Friday and Saturday from 6-11 p.m., and admission is $10.
However, there is a 20 percent discount for anyone who shops at a business downtown during the month of February and brings the receipt to show at the front desk.
So, if you find the repetitiveness and monotony of Valentine’s Day boring, think about trying something new and out of the ordinary this year.
