District Band qualifier roster
Auditions for KMEA district band took place at Hays High on Nov. 5. Students from all over the northwest district traveled for the event.
The band members auditioned separately and only a select few qualified for the district performance that is to take place at Beach Schmidt on Dec. 10.
The qualifiers are: freshman Paige Beamer (Flute), sophomores Myranda Berner (Flute), Spencer Wittkorn (Percussion) and Cori Isbel (Trombone).
Juniors are Gabriela Taliafero (Alto Sax) and Abby Kennemer (Trumpet). Senior Sam Crowley qualified with Percussion.
